China has been the source for many mobile phone incarnations ranging from outstanding all in one devices to the truly bizarre. That being said, they are releasing another mobile phone, this time it is small enough to fit on your wrist. Yes, that is right, Dick Tracy fans rejoice for the unveiling of the Thrifty Watch Phone, a watch and a mobile phone in one.

Things seem to be on a roll for mobile wrist phone hopefuls. Recently, a sleek-looking Nutec Wristfone has been announced by the Neutrano company. Now it has a more affordable counterpart in its aptly named Thrifty Watch Phone. These devices aim to be an all-in-one high tech device, combining mobile phone functionalities, an MP3 media player, a PDA device, a handy video camera and a media player in one device. Since it is Quad band, it is compatible to work anywhere around the globe, so only a SIM card is required to kick-off your mobile watch phone functionalities. pdFind the latest mobile phone deals at Moby1.

Thankfully, the unit has Bluetooth compatibility so nobody will need to talk to their wrist and freaking people out. Unless that is your cup of tea, then you will be glad to know that a microphone is also built-in so you can still talk to your watch phone.

The miniscule screen is also a touch screen LCD, so dialing will be a breeze (we hope). How much memory does it pack? No official word is out, but listening to music playing on your wrist sounds like a bad idea. Attaching a headphone on it is still bound to look unfashionable, so for people intending to use the media player, a Bluetooth headset is definitely a must.
